Makeup Decision
The decisions you make are visible, especially with makeup.
By using a private label, you know you will get what you expect.
In addition, your face will be covered with no
synthetics or chemicals. Iron oxide is found in
nature in red, orange and yellow hues. These pigments are
blended into flesh tones for mineral foundations. Silk mica
and hydrated silica soften the mineral compounds for use on
the skin. Silk Mica gives mineral makeup a smooth texture,
and hydrated silica binds the minerals to make them less messy.
Individual brands may add secondary ingredients, such as vitamins,
extra skin softeners or stronger pigments to neutralize skin
tone.
Mineral makeup can counteract a host of familiar challenges.
People prone to allergies or with sensitive skin will find
mineral
makeup contains no irritating dyes or perfumes.
They do not use talc and other fillers that can be harmful
to the skin. The acne-prone will find mineral makeup is organic,
hypoallergenic and oil free; it will not clog pores like some
conventional cosmetics.

versions of mineral foundation: All Natural Non-Acnegenic
Non-Drying Oil and Fragrance-Free Light to Medium Coverage.
There is some controversy over whether the Loreal mineral
makeup can be described as a true mineral makeup
product. Although it is significantly more natural
then standard foundations, Bare Naturale Powdered Mineral
Foundation is not a pure mineral makeup creation. Many mineral
makeup companies pride themselves on a short list of only
mineral and natural ingredients. Some companiesl instead emphasizes
their additives. Mineral foundation includes added moisturizers,
such as aloe, and vitamins E and B5, to combat the drying
effects of the mineral powders. They also admit their product
contains a small amount of necessary fillers and preservatives.
Due to the petite sized jar sold in a drugstore, skin color
matching can be slightly difficult. When buying your first
jar, double check the store’s return policy and save your
receipt. Also, one advantage of a powder foundation is the
ability to mix colors.
Mineral makeup is lightweight allowing air to flow freely
around your skin. The minerals also provide a natural sunscreen.
If you find the attached brush difficult to maneuver, consider
buying a separate makeup brush. For particularly troublesome
skin, you may want to apply this powder over a light foundation
for extra coverage. Also remember to clean your brush every
one to two months with warm water and mild soap. Always air
dry.
